a long summary

i'd somehow forgotten i have a blog, so i guess it's time to give a nice big update since the last time i wrote anything was in may.

 

first update since this won't be in order: i apparently ended up winning an award for being the best host at scifi con 2020, so i have the trophy chilling in my home to look at every now and then. i have no idea how it happened, one day i logged in and discovered it sitting in my inbox from the owner of scifi con, kirk. i figured i'd just done my job as best i could while also trying to enjoy the con, so finding out i'd not only been nominated but also won was a surprise to me.

second update: after nearly two years all but living on the roleplay sim elyona, i had to walk away. the people who need to know why do, the ones who don't can just fuck off. it's been interesting adjusting to life without stressing over running a sim along with trying to be one of the players there.

third: with the help of friends i managed to get out of a toxic, abusive poly relationship and i've started down the path to healing and seeing healthier relationships. two years of hell, suddenly lifted away as though it had never happened at all. i may be bearing wounds and scars, but that catfishing fuckhead and his harem of whores can't touch me anymore.

fourth: quite serendipitously i ended up dealing with a small number of suitors once word got out that i was single. one of them caught my interest, and now here i am engaged to the best person in sl, the complete opposite of my fuckhead ex who has me laughing myself to tears every single day.

fifth: about six days ago now my beloved penny and i celebrated our three year anniversary with his harness being locked to me, and in ten days we will celebrate our second wedding anniversary. time does fly when you're with someone you love ♥

platonic love is just as strong as other forms, and we prove that every second of every day.

sixth: i'm still DJing, and still doing sl porn. i enjoy doing both.

seventh: while it's unfortunate that i couldn't do TSO this year due to the owner being hospitalized with covid-19, i'm looking forward to next year.

eighth: i also unfortunately lost family to covid.

ninth: in a few days i'll be having my first bridal shower/bachelorette party, and i'm curious as to what all my friends have planned for me. invitations for the wedding itself have been sent, venue booked, dresses and bouquets ordered, party chosen the whole nine yards. it's very surreal to me still, i've never done any of this before. with pen we simply eloped, found a sim with an animesh priest and an auto ceremony, chose the date then paid 750L for a ceremony.

tenth: 2021 will start for me with my wedding, beyond that i can't even begin to fathom what's in store for me. perhaps better things.
